A very enjoyable memorable hike up one of the 2 perennial rivers in Capitol Reef, the othe being the Fremont. Enjoyed clambering over the waterfalls, through the river and giving our new river shoes a good test.

An enjoyable long hike crossing over different ridges in the Reef giving contrasting views of the rock formations and washes, culminating in the (hot) Grand Wash. Water needed to be rationed!
