A very enjoyable memorable hike up one of the 2 perennial rivers in Capitol Reef, the othe being the Fremont. Enjoyed clambering over the waterfalls, through the river and giving our new river shoes a good test.

An enjoyable long hike crossing over different ridges in the Reef giving contrasting views of the rock formations and washes, culminating in the (hot) Grand Wash. Water needed to be rationed!

Some regrets that we were leaving the Sawtooths prematurely due to the weather, but excitement that we were visiting a new Park: Capitol Reef which looked like there was great hiking. Tick in that box
