Key memories:
- The hike took in a wide range of different valleys, panoramas and terrain (limestone pavements, quarries, woodland, heathland, fields etc)
- Lots of styles to climb over, some very awkward
- Bryn Allen in the sunshine as we approached it from Pystyll Gwyn quarry
- After our tea break admiring the back walls of Burley Hill quarry (see above)
- the size of Pystyll Gwyn limestone quarry on our route back to the cars as we walked along the (fenced) cliff line along its perimeter
- Having tea in a deep limestone sink hole, sheltering from the wind
- Although there was some rain, it was not cold or windy. My waterproofs were effective.
